The Twotters are based at Glasgow and are used for the daily Barra, Campbeltown and Tiree schedules Loganair Twin Otter. BRR-BEB was canned in 2012 IIRC when the Western Isles Council (can't spell/pronounce the proper Gaelic name) pulled the funding for it as like most other local councils they were (are) skint.

On Tuesday 26 November 2019, I checked off one of my avgeek bucket list items, as I flew on a Loganair Twin Otter from Glasgow to Barra and back. More isoltaion pods are on order and Loganair is also working to convert a larger Saab 340 aircraft, capable of operating into all Highlands and Islands airports. A Loganair Twin Otter aircraft has been converted into an additional air ambulance aircraft, allowing it carry Epishuttle isolation pods for the safe carriage of C-19 patients by air. (!)
